On June 2, 2016, Gunnar J. Gitlin presented to the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law Section in Chicago for their Guardian ad Litem seminar (Education for Attorneys Appointed to Represent Children). He gave an overview regarding the statutory changes to the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act regarding the law formerly known as custody law (and now known as parental allocation).
